Drucker Zajdel Structural Engineers provided full engineering services from concept through construction for this highly sustainable design one-story medical office building in Naperville. The building is an all exposed steel frame with a column-free interior to maximize long-term flexibility of the interior use and layout.

The sustainable design features recycled, painted, exposed standard grade steel and a recessed slab-on-grade to allow for mechanical distribution systems beneath a raised floor. The extremely small perimeter columns, shallow perimeter framing and exposed tie-rod cross bracing allow maximum daylight into the interior spaces. The entry canopy is exposed corten steel.
